For a while there I was obsessed with photo realistic paintings of American artist Bert Monroy and it inspired me try some of my own, I did a few studies.
before settling on the small old fashioned convenience store attached to the Cronulla train station with it’s combination of Streamline Modern brick facade and retro fitted modern signage.
I took liberties recreating logos and signage, at the time My computer could not handle the full image with all the layers so I did multiable composites to make the final image.
